Chocolate Covered Bananas
4 bananas
1 (12oz) package chocolate chips
Peel bananas. Cut each banana in half crosswise. Put popsicle stick
into flat cut end of each banana half. Melt chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
Dip each banana in melted chocolate. Place bananas on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Place in freezer and allow 1-2 hours to freeze.
Notes: 1. I did not have popsicle sticks so I used wooden skewers.
2. After you place the bananas on the cookie sheet you can sprinkle
them with whatever you like, I used coconut,
but chopped nuts or sprinkles would be good as well!
3. One recipe I found recommended freezing the bananas
before dipping them. I may try this next time, mine did fine without it though!
We really enjoyed these, they are really not that bad for you and it made a great treat! I am sure kids would enjoy helping make these as well!
Yummmmm!

Yum! They look scrumptious... I'll have to try making them! :OD
Frozen bananas are a wonderful treat. And, yes, they are even yummy frozen without the chocolate. (Just make sure you take the peel off before you freeze them.)
