Dear Lillie,
Three years ago today, you came into our lives. You were prayed for and wanted so badly. I will never forget the first time I saw you, my heart was so full and I was amazed that I finally had a child to love.
You have brightened our days and changed our lives forever. You were truly an answer to prayers. You are such a delight and a challenge all at the same time. We constantly are amazed by you; we laugh and enjoy your personality so much.
Everyday I see that you are growing up and changing. The last year, what am I saying the last 3 years, have flown by. I don’t know when you changed from a baby to the precious little girl you are today. You are such a joy!
I have enjoyed all of your firsts, your first tooth, your first steps, your first word, but the first I can’t wait for now is, the first time you see your baby sister. You talk about her so much and kiss my tummy; you are so excited about meeting her. I can’t wait to see how you react to her and all of the fun you will have together.
My sweet girl, we love you and thank God for you. Life has not been the same since we were blessed with you and can’t really remember what it was like. I know that it was not this much fun!
