Wednesday Ramble!

Yesterday I met Rachel and got my sweet big girl back! She had a wonderful time with Papa, Nana and A.A. Sounds like the parade and fair was lots of fun. She did really well for them and I think they all enjoyed it. And while she was glad to see me, she was so much more excited to see her Daddy! She loved on him and they played and had lots of fun. Makes me realize even more that she is a daddy's girl. I can understand that, I have always had a special relationship with my Daddy and enjoy watching Lillie with hers. Jay loves his girls and I am so thankful that they have such a good daddy!

Angelica and I had a fun trip today, we went on a shopping trip. Lillie stayed at Grandma's house and Gracie stayed with her Daddy! It was the first time that has ever happened. We had some birthday shopping to do. Lillie's birthday is still a couple of weeks away but she is getting a big surprise. It needed to be purchased so that assembly can be done the week of her birthday! I am sure that some of you have already heard me mention what it is, but for the rest of you think "A park in your own backyard!" I am really excited and think she will have a "swingin" good time. But remember, Lillie does not know and hopefully she won't discover the mammoth size box we are hiding!

I am doing pretty good these days, 9 weeks till I am due, hopefully 7 weeks till we get our baby girl. I say that calmly but every time I walk into a store I am drawn towards the baby department. The girly stuff calls my name. I am so excited and ready to meet her. I know I still have time, but I can't wait to wash her clothes and pack my bag. Jay and I were talking the other night, there is so much to look forward to! Seeing Lillie get to meet her, smelling that sweet baby smell, and her curling up in a little ball on your chest. It makes me giddy just thinking about it. I think in the past I have focused to much on the labor and delivery part, but I am more at peace with that! Right now I am just keeping my eyes on the end result and what a blessing it will be!

Speaking of our precious baby girl, for quite a while now we have been referring to her as Baby Becca. Mainly because Lillie can't say Rebecca and we thought that is what we wanted to call her. But lately we have talked and decided we really want to call her Rebecca. I am sure that Lillie and our smaller nieces and nephews may still call her Becca and that is fine. Just a quick public service announcement :)

Well I am off, the supper cooking fairy has not shown up, so I guess it's all me tonight!

Have a great week!

Dude, I had such a good time yesterday. We need to do that more often, even if it's just out to lunch somewhere local. I can't wait to see the look on Lillie's face when she sees her BIG surprise! I think we did a good job with our VW bug and ropes!
