Monday Musings!

It seems that I am lacking on blog material lately, so I guess I am reduced to sharing more random facts and thoughts!

1. I had my 36 week doctors appointment today. Things seem to be going fine, no real news. Blood pressure good, negative strep test and all that other stuff was fine. I go back next Monday afternoon and that is my last appointment since I will go to the hospital the next Monday night!

2. I am still busy nesting and washing baby clothes. Rebecca's dresser and part of our closet is a sea of pink! I packed a few things for her tonight, I still need to pack my bag. For some reason I keep putting that off, I plan to do it at some point this week.

3. Lillie and I have a cold, from what I hear so does much of the great state of Georgia. It is not one of those bad things, just cough and runny/stuffy nose. One minute you can't breathe and the next your nose is pouring. Let me say that 3 year olds do not understand the importance of wiping their noses. At least not on things like a Kleenex or toilet paper, Lillie seems to prefer a sleeve or just an arm. YUCK! Hopefully this will be short lived!

4. We have kind of a busy week Wednesday is Lillie's 3 year checkup and some shopping. Thursday, Curious George will be at the library, we have homeschool group and supper being brought over, then Friday night starts a weekend long church meeting. I really don't mind that we are busy though because I think it will be good for me. I like to be busy especially when I am waiting on something or someone :)

5. Next week is Thanksgiving! We are looking for to being at Grandma and Grandpa's house this year. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, the combination of visiting family and good food is wonderful! We will miss seeing Papa, Nana and Ray Ray but they will be coming down Sunday or Monday for Miss Rebecca's arrival.

6. After Thanksgiving we will put up our Christmas tree. That has been a long standing tradition in my family. It is important to me and we always do it that way. Lillie is excited, we have been telling her for a while now that after we put up our Christmas Tree then it will be time for Baby Rebecca to come. She is giddy about all of it.

7. I am almost finished with my Christmas shopping. Don't be too impressed, it has never happened this early before. I just don't know how much I will feel up to doing it with a new baby. Another reason is that I want to be able to enjoy everything and not get stressed out! I have not decided what Miss Rebecca is getting yet. I doubt she will care as long as someone is there to hold her, she has a clean diaper and some warm dinner :)

Hope you all have a good week! Please continue to remember us in your prayers, we appreciate them!
