Friday Thoughts!

We have had a good week around here! Hard to believe it is Friday already, but as they say time flies when you are having fun!

Updates on everyone:

Miss Rebecca is doing good, I decided to take her to the doctor this morning. She has had a stuffy nose, sneezed and coughed some the last couple of days. I decided better to be safe than sorry! She was checked her over good and said that it is just normal stuffiness and she should be fine. They also worked on her cord some, it was looking yucky! I can't wait till we lose that thing and can do "real" bathes! She had gained 3ozs in a week and they seemed pleased with that. She is still a sweet baby and rarely fusses. When she fusses you can bet that she is gassy, has a dirty diaper, or is hungry!

Lillie is doing well, she seems to be adjusting better. I think her cold is finally gone, for which we are thankful. There is not much grosser than a snotty, coughing 3 year old! She loves Rebecca and asks to hold her all the time. I am so glad that she is getting more settled. She is a big helper and loves to big me things for Rebecca. She also lets me know if she squirms or needs me.

I am doing much better. I feel good, that may be because I had a nap:) As far as recovering I feel like I am doing really well. I am in much better shape this time than I was with Lillie. I can fit in my pre-pregnancy jeans and that thrills me! I weigh less than I did when I found out I was going to have Miss Rebecca. That was the best diet plan I ever did:)

Jay is doing good and survived his first week back at work. He is still helping out and I appreciate it all. He loves to get home and spend time with his girls. He and Lillie enjoy playing outside in the afternoon. I love to watch them out the window! Time will fly and Rebecca will be out there with them before you know it!

My good friend Amy brought us supper on Monday night and she brought a Chocolate Chip Pie. Words do not do this pie justice. It was so good, my new favorite. I kind of hid it and had the last piece this afternoon. It is so chocolaty and delicious. She posted the recipe since I kind of demanded that she do so. Make one, you will be so glad you did!

Last night Lillie and her friend Gracie decorated gingerbread houses. They had a lot of fun! When they finished we went to our local Christmas parade with Phillip, Angelica and Gracie. The kids enjoy it very much and so did we. We bundled up Rebecca and she snuggled with Angelica, she never fussed although she did nearly jump out of her skin when the fire truck came by!

Tomorrow we are headed to Papa and Nana's for the 1st time! Miss Rebecca has lots of people to meet and visit! It is sure to be lots of fun. We will be home Sunday afternoon!

Have a great weekend!
