P.A.M.S. and Lillie-isms

For those of you that are not familiar with P.A.M.S. It stands for Post Annual Meeting Syndrome. The symptoms are tiredness, an overflowing cup, missing your church friends, the desire to not cook for several days and children who are strung out on sugar from all the desserts at church!

We had a wonderful Annual meeting. We were very blest and enjoyed it greatly. The visiting preacher stayed with us and we had a good time of fellowship. It was such an encouragement to us.

For a while I have been meaning to share some Lillie stories. If you know Lillie you will find these very funny. She is very friendly and does not have a shy bone in her body.

*This weekend at church these two older ladies came to church, they asked Lillie is she had started to school. Lillie looked at them and replied, "Well................... I can't drive!!!" Then when they got ready to leave Lillie told them bye and then yelled, "Have Fun! Don't freeze!" (They were over 70 and It was 70 degrees)

*Saturday morning she was visiting with the preacher, she looked at him and said "Your OOOOOLLLDDDDD!' Thankfully his reply was" Yep, I sure am!" Thank goodness he has lots of grandkids.

*On Sunday afternoon our pastors wife saw Lillie outside and said "Lillie it sure is windy!" Lillie replied, "No it is Tuesday!!"

*The other day we were riding along and she said, " Sometimes, I don't have a Daddy.' I said, "Lillie you have a Daddy." She said in a very sad tone " When Daddy goes to vork (work) I don't have a daddy anymore!"

Lillie also has quite a few words that are interesting.

Anything that starts with a W like, walk, water, and well. She changes to a V so it is valk, vater, vell. She sounds a little german or something.

In the monnow = tomorrow
poffee = coffee
omm-eee cheese = Macaroni and Cheese
unguns = onions (which she reminds me constantly that she does not like!)
home clothes = play clothes
ta-nons = crayons
pank = paint
too nuts= doughnuts
toad it paper = toilet paper
Samas = pajamas
piter = computer

The girl is a little comedian! Everyday is an adventure and you never know what the day holds!

Hope you have a great day!
