Well the good news is, I survived. I am pretty sure that was the flu I had last week. And yes I had a flu shot, but you know that you can still get it because they always miss a strain. Oh well, I survived and am left now with just a barking cough. You know the one, you cough and everyone looks at you like bless her heart, she is infecting us all! I am hoping to cough free by summertime. Maybe before!
Now for an update on the girls, Lillie is doing good. She is full of energy and life.
She constantly keeps us laughing and on our toes. You never know quite what to expect. The girl does not meet a stranger and her new thing is to ask anybody she sees what their name is. She waits and then says My name is LILLIE!
Becca is doing great. She has a little bit of a cough but so far that is all! I am keeping an eye on her and hoping that it does not turn into anything else. She is so completely different than her sister. She has started crying up a storm when she gets sleepy. Earlier today I finally laid her in her crib and in about 60 seconds she was out and slept over 2 hours. She has done it again and is taking a good nap. She lays there very peacefully and just goes to sleep. Lillie always was hard to get to sleep so we are in new territory here!
Jay is doing good. I think he is enjoying his life full of girls. We are starting to work on some projects outside. Springtime and gardening is just around the corner! We are blest to have a pear tree in our yard. The pears are wonderful and we always have plenty to share. The tree is blooming and when I see it I think about hope. Every one of those pretty white blossoms will hopefully be a juicy pear! We will probably have some more cool days but there are signs that Spring is coming!
