There is something I have learned about life, it is full of ordinary. Every morning we get up, and go about doing our daily routine, we go to bed and start over again. Our world has become so consumed with the extraordinary that many people have become frustrated with the ordinary.
As a stay at home mom, my life may look very ordinary. Everyday the house needs cleaning, clothes need washing, meals need cooking, babies need rocking, nursing and changing. Floors need mopping, sheets need changing, toilets need scrubbing, boo boos need kissing, children need disciplining and list goes on.
I find that since having Becca things are even busier. I never seem to quite get caught up. Just a little while ago, I was cleaning the bathrooms. As I was scrubbing the toilet I got to thinking how much I enjoy this ordinary life. I have really tried lately to be thankful for what I have and enjoy even the ordinary.
There is great satisfaction in being content with what we have and where we are. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to stay home with our girls. Everyday I get to see them change and grow and interact with one another. I admit that I enjoy making our house a home. Cleaning is not glamorous, but I always have a wonderful feeling when I am finished.
My heart is full of thankfulness for all my bountiful blessings, a wonderful Father in heaven, churches to worship Him in, Godly parents, a husband whom I adore, 2 beautiful little girls, all of my family and friends, a home, food on our table, clothes on our backs, a shiny red van and so many more things.
See those on the outside may see my life as ordinary but what they don't know is, how blessed I feel to be living this wonderful ordinary life!

I so agree with you Beth. We(as stay at home moms)do live just plain, ordinary lives but like you, I am totally satisfied! I also enjoy cleaning my house, I just wish I had the time to do it properly! But those days are just around the corner and I know soon we will all be wishing we didn't have so much time to scrub those toilets! I enjoy reading your posts daily; it is such a blessing to be able to know that their are other moms/girls out there who feel and think the way I do!
What a breath of fresh air, Beth! I agree wholeheartedly! I love my home...love my life! It's such a blessing to live an "ordinary" life! Like Amanda said, we're going to have PLENTY of time one day to clean toilets, so let's enjoy our ordinary lives! We are so thankful for y'all and we love you all bunches! Can't wait to see you again!
