Update

We made it home late Friday night. Papa John is doing great. His surgery and recovery could not have gone better. Most of my time was not spent taking care of him but making sure he was behaving. We appreciate all the prayers.

The girls did good on the trip, I had to stop several times to give Becca her pappy back. It got funny, Lillie tried to reach but couldn't and I was pulling over, turning around sticking it back in and going again. It gave me more confidence about being able to travel with them. I don't plan on doing it much, but at least I know I can.

We had a busy weekend, a funeral, a birthday party and church. The birthday party was for one of Jay's aunts. She turned 50 and they had a big party. We had a good time and Lillie entertained people. Jay has a big family and there are a good many that we don't see much. A coupld of Jay's uncles were standing outside talking, Lillie asked somebody, "What's those boys names?, I think they told her, but she replied, "I think I will go ask them!" She loves to ask what people's names are.

The funniest thing to me that happened was that after the cake was cut all the kids got a piece. A lady walked by Lillie and asked her how the cake was, she said "Good!" She asked the lady, "DO you want a piece?" She replied, "No" and Lillie looked at her and said "Then why are you here?"
LOL You know when you Lillie, the best part of any party is the cake, and why would you
go and not have a piece. The child is a trip!

I got a call from my Mama last night and anytime Mama starts with"Rachel's okay." It makes my heart stop. Rachel is okay but she was in a wreck last night. She had gone to pick up her friend and they were headed to go eat supper. A van pulled out in front of her and there was no way for her to stop in time. She has is bruised from the seatbelt, and has a headache. She and her friend both went to he hospital and got x-rays and checked over. Her new Trailblazer is not okay, sounds like it got banged up bad. She said the radiator was busted and the front end and drivers front side was messed up. Bless her heart, she had just mailed her 2nd payment this past week. I am so thankful she is okay, I love her so much and hope she feels much better soon.
