Happy Birthday Jay!

Today is Jay's birthday! Last night as we were laying in bed talking I apologized to him for teasing him about being old. Jay is 9 years and 180 days older than me, yes I calculated it! I like to tease him about it because he is turning 35 today and I was 25 in January. I like to say things like, WOW you are only 5 years away from 40! But it is all in fun and he knows that!

Jay is a wonderful husband and father, ALL of his girls love and adore him. The other night he was in the floor playing with them and they were crawling all over him like a jungle gym. They were laughing and Becca got all excited and was saying, Dada Dada Dada Dada. It was so sweet!

Jay, I am so thankful for you and the girls. I think so many times about those quiet early years of our marriage. The ones where we prayed and begged God that he would bless us with children. Where we sat in a quiet house and wondered how long it would be. When the girls get wound up and things get wild around here, I think about that and I think how blessed we are and how thankful I am for all of my bountiful blessings!
